How to prepare and cook your quinoa flakes: Add 1/3 of a cup of quinoa flakes to 1 cup of water and bring to the boil in a saucepan. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 90 seconds to 2 minutes. This can be cooked longer if you like the flakes softer, or soak the flakes in boiling water with a plate over the top for about 20 minutes first. Allow to cool slightly to allow it to thicken. This can be cooked in a micro-wave oven, but the times are still about the same. Stir well before serving.
