Long Pepper - Indian/Balinese/Java/Pippali *Various Sizes Available*

New product

  • In flavor it is much more complex than black pepper, more akin to spice blends like garam masala - more than a single spice. It possesses black pepper's heat and musk, but in a less harsh, more nuanced way, tempered by sweet notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom.

  • Long pepper's complexity takes well to ingredients with unusual, nuanced flavors, such as spring favorites like artichokes, asparagus, and mushrooms.

  • Works well in Mediterranean, African, Indian, Asian, Malaysian, Indonesian dishes, rubs and glazes for all red meat or simply ground on top of your crab sandwhich.

  • Because of its more blended taste Long pepper is also the perfect complementary spice for sweet dishes and salads.
