HOW TO TAKE:

You can take the psyllium seeds whole or grind them depending on preference. Add to at least 200ml of warm water, and drink immediately. Alternatively soak the psyllium seed in warm water for between 2 to 6 hours before taking. They have little flavour, so the seeds can also be added to food, but plenty of liquid should be taken at the time. Psyllium seed fibre can interfere with absorption of nutrients and medication so this is not ideal. It is best taken well away from food and medication. N.B. Psyllium seeds are not meant to be used as a long term laxative. As far as dosage there are no hard and fast rules. It is best to find your own level with anything. Start at the minimum dose of about one half of a teaspoon and work up to about 2 teaspoons with the appropriate amount of warm water, if necessary. We recommend that you to start with one dose once a day first thing in the morning and add last thing at night when moving to a higher dose. If the result is not good enough then gradually go up to 2 doses leaving 3-4 days between to see the result. Likewise once the result is achieved try to find your maintenance dose. Reduce by a dose and see if you are still ok. If not go back to the previous dose,
